| To adapt themselves to agricultural and rural economic development, the SMCs across the country have been upgrading multi-function agriculture-related service networks to offer one-stop service to satisfy farmers’ production and living needs. Now the SMCs have become an important part in enhancing agriculture-related social services.
Community Multi-function Service Center
The primary cooperatives at different places have created multi-function cooperatives, providing farmers with such services as science and technology guidance, medical care, education, cultural activities, entertainment and lease service, which are greatly received by the farmers. With expanded functions, the multi-function cooperatives of some regions have already become the product and information exchange centers, cultural centers of the local rural communities and played important roles in building harmonious new rural communities and socialist new countryside.
