China Cooperative Trade Enterprises Association(CCTEA),established in 1992,is a national organization voluntarily joined by individuals,institutions and cooperative trade enterprises throughout the country.The Association accepts the supervision and management of the Ministry of Civil Affairs and the professional guidance of the All China Federation of Supply and Marketing Cooperatives.

The purpose of CCTEA is to provide services to the members,cooperative trade enterprises and the government,including business consultation,information,technology,training,marketing,propaganda,international communication and cooperation;to formulate the rules and regulations of the industry according to the state laws and legislations and constitution of the association;to maintain fair competition and protect the legitimate rights and interests of the members and the industry;to coordinate the relationships between the government and members,promote the sound development of enterprises and the industry.

Since its establishment,CCTEA has done tremendous work to guide members to go through the transition from planning economy to market one and from traditional operation style to modern one.CCTEA organized activities such as 'purchasing jointly and marketing individually of industrial products','purchasing individually and marketing jointly of agricultural products',and built a platform for 'the alliance among manufacture and sellers'.CCTEA hold the national commodity fairs,the conference for ordering goods in the rural market,conduct managers training;In and effort to promote the development of the enterprises,CCTEA recommended good quality products,published journals and constructed website to provide services to enterprises in the area of modern marketing styles,electronic business and management knowledge.CCTEA tried to set up 'zhonglianfa' chain operate enterprise and made efforts on the commodities origin 'zero profits,low costs' operation model.All those are deeply accepted by enterprises and got obvious effects.

CCTEA will continue to exploit and innovate,strengthen its service function,set up a platform for purchasing and information exchanging in the area of agricultural products and industrial products.CCTEA will become an integrated body of production and marketing step by step.
